"Community Book Fair 2013-2014" was finally successfully concluded after the four stations. The most impressive news is the attendance in the last stop - "Reading in Causeway Bay" which is just finished yesterday, is more than expected (last year record is 270,000). A total of 280,000 participants successfully hit a record high﹗ "Community Book Fair" is organized by the Hong Kong Book & Magazine Trade Association and District Council, adhering to actively promote universal reading purpose.
Alcon is very proud to be 6 consecutive years of the official contractors involved in the theme poster design, site construction, co-ordination and crowd control arrangements. Due to the scale of the past gradually expanding community book fair, the difficulty of co-ordinate exhibitors, co-organizer, road closures and managing people out has gradually increased. Therefore, the success of this activity is really depends on co-operation of all helpers & staffs.
This year's "Community Book Fair" a proven track record, to get the community's recognition and appreciation, and pleased by the media and exhibitors. 一連四站的「社區書展2013-2014」終於圓滿結束，而在昨天完成的最後一站 - 「閱讀在銅鑼灣」，入場人次更較預期的27萬為多，共有28萬人次入場，創下歷年新高。「社區書展」由香港書刊業商會及各區區議會合辦，秉承積極推動全民閱讀的宗旨。
Alcon 非常榮幸成為連續6屆的大會承建商，參與活動主題海報設計、場地搭建、統籌及人流控制安排。由於近社區書展規模逐漸擴大，協調參展商、協辦單位、封路安排及管理進出人次的難度亦逐漸提高，因此是次活動之成功，著實有賴各工作人員的通力合作。
